To become a SICCI member, you can apply online through our website or visit our office at City Centre Building, Mendana Avenue, Honiara. You will need to complete a membership application form and provide your business registration certificate, a copy of your business license, and contact details. Applications are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Once approved, you will receive a welcome pack and your membership certificate. SICCI membership provides numerous benefits including: advocacy and representation with the Solomon Islands Government on business-related policies, networking opportunities through Business Breakfast events and Business After 5 functions, access to training and professional development programs, listing in the SICCI Member Directory for increased business visibility, business referral services connecting you with potential partners and clients, discounted rates on events and training programs, access to business certificates and letters of recommendation, trade facilitation support for import/export activities, monthly newsletters with industry updates and economic insights, and invitations to exclusive member-only events with government officials and visiting business delegations.
SICCI offers tiered membership to accommodate businesses of all sizes. The Micro/Small Business tier is SBD 1,500 per year for businesses with 1-10 employees. The Medium Business tier is SBD 5,000 per year for businesses with 11-50 employees. The Large Business tier is SBD 15,000 per year for businesses with 51-100 employees. The Corporate tier is SBD 25,000+ per year for businesses with over 100 employees. Special rates are available for non-profit organizations and newly registered businesses in their first year of operation. Membership renewal notices are sent 30 days before your membership expires. You can renew by logging into your member portal on our website, visiting our office in person, or contacting our membership team directly. Payment can be made via bank transfer to SICCI's ANZ Bank account, by cheque payable to 'Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry', or in cash at our office. Ensure you renew before your expiry date to maintain uninterrupted access to member benefits and services. Late renewals may require re-application processing.
